On Reading The Brothers Kamarazov

I've read the first 100 pages of The Brothers Kamarazov, even a greater reading experience than Madame Bovary and, besides Shakespeare, the greatest reading experience I've ever had. The long scenes of the meeting between Father Zossima and some of the Kamazarovs and others are Shakespearean in their dazzingly surreal portrayal of character, deep exploration of our natures and relentless intellectual probing.

Wow!
